Constructor Capital Podcast- How Gcore is Redefining Global instrastructures

How Gcore is redefining Global infrastructures. The AI infrastructure race is not just about GPUs.It’s about where the compute lives, who controls it, and whether it can actually get to market fast enough.

On our most recent episode of the Constructor Capital Podcast, our managing partner Matthias Winter talked with Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore, about how the company evolved from CDN and gaming infrastructure into an AI edge platform and one thing stood out:The real advantage isn’t one product. It’s the stack.Gcore started by solving latency for gaming and entertainment.

Then the same edge distribution logic started to matter for compute, security, storage, and AI. That’s when the shift happened.Today, the demand is moving from training to inference. And that changes everything. Customers don’t just want raw compute:

- They want sovereign infrastructure.

- They want private AI.

- They want full control over data, power, geography, and resilience.

Especially in Europe, that matters. Andre made a strong point: If Europe only funds supply, but not demand, the ecosystem will stay fragile.

That resonated. Because infrastructure is only defensible when there’s a real market built around it.

What also stood out was Gcore’s view on the future:

- Agentic AI- Edge inference

- Physical AIMore distributed, resilient compute, not one giant center.

More intelligent infrastructure, closer to where the work actually happens.Maybe that’s the real shift underway, not just bigger models.

But a different way of thinking about where intelligence gets delivered.
